Lets 'PRESS' on with 2018

After the build up to Christmas and the New Year, it is always a relief when January comes along. A time to work on the business, not in the business, a time to plan and consolidate as we approach the next turn of Julian’s page.

So what I’m trying to say is January is normally a quiet time, or so I thought! 12 people for breakfast last week and the diary for the demo kitchen is being filled as I write. Private hire, breakfasts and ‘Field to Fork Tours’ bookings are coming in. This is fantastic for us as it gives us the chance to spread the word and talk about all that goes on here at Fussels HQ.

As well as the undoubted effect of social media and local press, word of mouth still ranks highly in terms of an effective marketing strategy, ‘get people talking about you’, my father used to say and he was spot on, providing of course they are saying the right thing! Last year alone we welcomed well over 200 people through the doors. We love doing this as it gives us a real chance to show people what we do and how we do it.

The pressure is now on for keeping our shelf space in the supermarkets, it was one thing achieving the listings with Sainsbury’s and Morrison’s, but now we have to prove our worth and make sure the Fussels Brand stands up well amongst the competition.
